The territory of the Sinis is enriched by the presence of the Marine Protected Area Penisola del Sinis Isola di Mal di Ventre
Established in 1997, it has an extension of about 30,357 ha. The Area, managed by the Municipality of Cabras, is home to many conservation and sustainable development initiatives for tourism, science and education.
